One Dead, Two Injured In Mount Vernon Fire

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- One man was killed and two others injured in a fire that gutted a multi-family home on South First Avenue in Mount Vernon on Wednesday night, according to LoHud.com.

The man was reportedly declared dead at Mount Vernon Hospital and two women are being treated for injuries. Five other residents of the home are being relocated by the Red Cross, according to the article.

The victims names have yet to be released and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
