MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - The New York Police Department is investigating a hit and run that ended in Mount Vernon on Wednesday morning, Police Commissioner Carl Bell said.
Bell said the car was chased into the city from the Bronx at around 1 a.m. It crashed near 48 Second St. Mount Vernon police found the car unoccupied after the crash, which nobody was injured in.
