Nine Arrested In Mount Vernon On Drug Sale Charges

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Nine men are charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony in Mount Vernon.

Police said Mount Vernon residents Theodore Carcoma, 21, Christopher Franco, 27, Ernest Lewis 44, Joseph Lewis 38, Christopher Martin, 29, Damyan Monroe, 38, and Thiago Silva, 21. are all charged with the crime. Also charged are Terry Chalmers, 46, of White Plains and Andrew Griffen, 27, of New Rochelle.

Police said Chalmers, Joseph Lewis and Silva were already in custody on other charges when the arrests were made.
