MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Mount Vernon Police are continuing to investigate a marijuana bust Saturday night, Commissioner Carl Bell said.
Mount Vernon firefighters found 300 marijuana plants at 137 S. Fifth Ave. on Saturday night when they responded to a water main break at that location, officials said.
Police investigated and said they found the plants with paraphernalia and packaging equipment. Bell said the Mount Vernon Police Department called the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to help with the investigation.
