Mount Vernon Officials Look At Arson In Fire At Apartment Buildings

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Fire investigators are considering whether Saturday's house fire in Mount Vernon was due to arson, News 12 reported.

A Mount Vernon fire that involved three apartment buildings reportedly may have been cause by arson.

The fire started about 11:30 p.m. on South Terrace Avenue overtaking three apartment buildings, leaving a few families without homes, said the News 12 report.

A couple of firefighters sustained "minor injuries," according to News 12.
