MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- A Mount Vernon man was sentenced to nine years in prison on Wednesday for assaulting a Yonkers detective, according to Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore.
On June 6, 2014, Leroi Bouche, 28, drove his vehicle at a high rate of speed at a Yonkers police detective who along with other members of the Westchester District Attorney’s Narcotics Initiative were attempting to effect a car stop. Bouche struck the detective with his vehicle causing serious injury, DiFiore said.
Bouche fled on foot and was arrested in the Bronx on June 12.
