Mount Vernon Man Found Dead In Bus

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – A dead man was discovered on a Mount Vernon Department of Recreation bus on Monday, Oct. 7, police confirmed today.

Shortly before 10:30 a.m., Stephen Kreutzer, 57, was found on a city bus by a recreation worker. He had clothes on, but lacked shoes, according to Police Commissioner Richard Burke.

The man was found in a lot under the Park Avenue bridge. It hasn’t been checked in a week. Police don’t believe there was any foul play involved.
