MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – A Mount Vernon man being held in connection with a shooting outside a day care center on Tuesday is now facing federal gun charges, News 12 Westchester reports.

Raheem Jones was arrested after shots were fired outside the New Rochelle Day Nursery.

The other man involved in the shooting is still in the hospital, according to News 12 Westchester.
