MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Mount Vernon firefighter who allegedly made Instagram comments after the Dallas police killings calling for killing more police has been suspended, according to News 12.
Lt. Omar Lanier is accused of using the social media account under the name “Live Republic,” according to News 12, which reported that the controversial post said, in part, “Hooray for Dallas and the real gangstas who took the shots.”
The Instagram post, which has since been removed, also called for people to “Let’s keep it going,” according to News 12.
