Car Strikes Woman At Mount Vernon Intersection

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – A woman sustained minor injuries late Tuesday afternoon after she was struck by a car in Mount Vernon, police said.

The accident happened at East Grand Street and Gramatan Avenue at about 5:30 p.m..

The woman’s injuries were not life-threatening, but she was shaken up, police said. No charges were filed against the driver Tuesday evening, police said.
