Deisy Manzo, 31, was arraigned in City Court on Tuesday and released on $1,000 bail after she was arrested Sunday and charged with criminal mischief for allegedly driving her car into a Pizza Hut because the store misplaced her order.

The single mother backed into the front door of the Pizza Hut at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday, cracking the glass doors and knocking them off their hinges. She subsequently sped off but was quickly tracked down by police, who likely benefited from the surveillance system police have been using for the past year.

Manzo was reportedly upset that she allegedly submitted an order online, which wasn’t received by the fast-food joint on Huguenot Street, and it wasn’t prepared when she arrived.

According to reports, Manzo is no longer permitted to order from that location.

Employees at Pizza Hut declined comment Tuesday, when the doors sported plywood instead of glass as the restaurant awaited a replacement. Manzo is due back in court on Monday, March 9.
