AWD Sponsors Merrell Down & Dirty Mud Run: September 30 in Orchard Beach
Time to get down and dirty for a great charity event! AWD has signed on as a booth sponsor of the Merrell Down & Dirty National Mud & Obstacle series presented by Subaru. The event will take place September 30th, 2013 at Orchard Beach, NY and will benefit Operation Gratitude.
Operation Gratitude is a non-profit organization that sends care packages filled with snacks, entertainment items, and personal letters of appreciation to individual deployed U.S. Service Members, recuperating Wounded Warriors, and their children at home. The goal of the operation is to lift morale and express appreciation and support to the American soldiers.
Every $15 raised will send one care package to a serviceman or woman overseas. A team donation page will be set up for anyone racing that has friends or family interested in making a donation.
