MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. Vincenza "Chenzy" Annunziata, a lifelong Mount Vernon resident, died Aug. 8 with her family at her side. She was 87.
Annunziata was born May 6, 1925, in Mount Vernon to Dominico and Christina Ianniello Giglio. She is survived by a daughter, Carol Martucci, of Mount Vernon; four sons, Thomas, of Mount Vernon, Anthony, of Scarsdale, Steven, of Deland, Fla., and Paul, of Mattatuck, N.Y.; a sister, Antoinette Quintieri, of New Suffolk, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at St. Ursula's Church in Mount Vernon. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Sinatra Memorial Home in Yonkers.
