Theresa Reid, 50, Mount Vernon Resident

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Theresa Reid, of Mount Vernon, died on Monday, March 7. She was 50.

Reid worked for the City of Mount Vernon, in the Planning Department. She is survived by her daughter, Rashayla Holley.

A wake will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. on Friday, March 18, with an 11 a.m. service, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 141 South Ninth Ave., in Mount Vernon. Rev. Dr. Darren M. Morton, will officiate. Lee O. Wood Funeral Home, in Mount Vernon, is assisting with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Reid's daughter, Rashayla Holley, c/o Mary Fleming, Mount Vernon Planning Department, Mount Vernon City Hall, One Roosevelt Square, #211 Mount Vernon, New York 10550.
