MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Mount Vernon resident Rose Ruggiero died Monday, Jan. 18. She was 93.
For over 40 years, Ruggiero worked for the A&P and at Pat's Oakridge Bar & Grill in Eastchester.
She is survived by her sister Nancy Henlotter; and nine nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Carmine and Angelina Ruggiero; siblings Julia Rezza, Mary Jordano and brother Anthony Ruggiero.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave., Mount Vernon. A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, at Sts. Peter & Paul Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
