HOBE SOUND, Fla. - Robert R. Coschigano, of Hobe Sound, formerly of Mount Vernon, died April 11. He was 87.

Coschigano served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a retired detective of the Mount Vernon Police Department.

Coschigano is survived by his sister, Alfina Iovino of Mount Vernon;, godson/nephew, Robert Iovino; niece, Diana; and a grandniece. He was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Isabella (Costeri) Coschigano; sister, Lena; brothers, Ciro, James and Eugene.

Calling hours are Wednesday, April 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Yannantuono Funeral Home . A Blessing will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 17 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
