Richard L. Stanzione, 89, Of Mount Vernon, Korean War Veteran

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Richard L. Stanzione of Mount Vernon died Dec. 5. He was 89.

Stanzione was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Mount Vernon. He served in the Army during the Korean War as a corpsman. After his discharge, he was employed by the National Association of Manufacturers and later by Maritime Industries and then Devlin Technical Services in New York City as technical coordinator. He was also associated with Orchid Records, Punjon Publishing Company and a Radio and Music Industry publication called The D.J. Line. He also studied acting at Herbert Burgdorf Studios in New York City.

Stanzione is survived by his niece, Diane Ghiloni of New Rochelle; and cousins, Daisy and Victor D'Ontna of Rhinebeck. He was predeceased by his parents; sister, Lillian Ghiloni (Joseph); and niece, Lynn Ghiloni.

A Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Dec. 30 at St. Ursula's Church, 214 East Lincoln Ave., Mount Vernon.

Arrangements were made by Mastrandea Funeral Chapels in St. Albans, New York.
