MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. Peter J. Palmiere of Mount Vernon died Aug. 30. He was 84.
Born May 2, 1928, Palmiere served in the Navy during World War II. He was a retired tailor, previously working in various department stores in Manhattan and Westchester.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday morning at Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe. Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester handled arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Hospital Fund, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461.
