MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Paul A. DiSabato, of Mount Vernon, died Saturday, June 18. He was 58.
He was born Dec. 31, 1957, to Anthony and Rosemarie (Carfano) DiSabato. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1975-81. He worked as truck driver and was a member of the Teamsters Local 456 for 23 years. He also was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his sister, Theresamarie, and Don Rines of Leland, N.C.; nieces and nephews, Don and Sara Rines of Middletown and Christine and John Fusco of Eden; and great-nieces and nephews, Richie, Anthony, Isabella, Paul, Peter, Gianna and Emily.
A celebration of his life will be conducted from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave., Mount Vernon. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 Stevens Ave., Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to Palliative Care Center at Mt. Sinai Hospital or The Wounded Warriors Foundation.
