Palmieri was born in Italy on Oct. 11, 1941, to Loretto and Assunta Palmieri.
He was predeceased by sisters Livia and Giovanna. He is survived by his wife, Rosa; his children, Anthony, Nick and his wife, Barbara, and Sandy; his grandchildren, Amanda, Christina, Anthony, Nicholas, Justin and Kristi; his great-grandchild, Ava; and his brother, Silverio.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, March 5, from 4-8 p.m. at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home in Mount Vernon.
A funeral Mass will be at celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, March 6, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church.
