WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Maria Da Conceicao Morgado Carvalho, of Lake Wylie, S.C. and formerly of Wappingers Falls and Mount Vernon, died on Thursday, March 31. She was 69.
Carvalho was born on July 2, 1946 in Ferradosa-Alfandega Da Fe, Portugal.
She is survived by sons George and Paul, and a sister, Natalia Morgado Simoes.
She was predeceased by her husband, Francisco
Visiting hours are on Wednesday, April 6, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main St. in Wappingers Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, at St. Mary's Church, at 11 Clinton St., in Wappingers Falls.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Wappingers Falls.
