MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Joyce Doreen Haynes of Milford passed away on Aug. 17. She was 86.
Haynes was born July 23, 1929 in Bridgetown, Barbados. She was a nurses’ aide in Port Chester Nursing Home in New York prior to retirement.
Haynes is survived by her children Tyrone Haynes of Orlando, Fla.; Rosita Haynes-Brathwaite of the Bronx; Deighton Haynes of Toronto; Arundell Haynes of Hollywood, Fla.; and Lorraine Keesler of Mount Vernon; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
