MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Frances Cortellessa, of Mount Vernon, died Oct. 14. She was 98.
Cortellessa was born July 30, 1917, in Mount Vernon, to Carmelo and Christine Lombardo.
She was predeceased by her husband Ralph and brother Joseph Lombardo.
Cortellessa is survived by two children, Susan Belfiglio and Dominick Cortellessa, daughter-in-law Dorothy Cortellessa, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 129 E. Birch St., Mount Vernon.
