MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Evelyn Dolores Gherardi of Mount Vernon died Nov. 14. She was 89.
Gherardi was born Aug. 8, 1924, in Derby, to Getulio and Antoinette (nee Valerio) Massi. She spent most of her 89 years in the Fleetwood section of Mount Vernon.
Gherardi is survived by her children, John (Julianne) Gherardi, Joyce (August) Vettorino and Thomas (Linda) Gherardi; six grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Mary Gherardi. She was predeceased by her sisters, Laura Tallevi and Dina Massi; and brother, Guido Massi.
Calling hours are Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. Funeral Service will be held at Westchester Funeral Home, followed by Interment at Holy Mount Cemetery.
