MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Dawn E. LaMorte, 53, a longtime resident of Mount Vernon, died Saturday, June 27.
She was born Oct. 20, 1961, in New Rochelle, New York to Frederick and Mary (Freeman) Eberle. She was a school psychologist for the NYC School District for over 20 years. She was a member of the New Rochelle Irish Benevolent Society.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her stepchildren Tiffany, Tamara and Andrew LaMorte; five grandchildren; five sisters; and one brother; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, William F. LaMorte, who died July 4, 2007.
Funeral and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to any children or animal organization of one’s choice in her name.
