Christine Frusciante, 90, Of Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Christine M. Frusciante of Meadowview Assisted in Mount Vernon died Oct. 14. She was 90.

Born Sept. 24, 1922, she was the daughter of Rose Lozido and Fidele Tullo. She married Louis J. Frusciante on April 13, 1947 and they were married for 65 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory and St. Ursula's Senior's Group. Frusciante worked for R.H. Donnelly for many years and then for the Franciscan Missions in Mount Vernon until she retired in 1985.

Frusciante  is survived by three children, Linda (Joe) Cancilla, of Pittsfield, Mass., Rosemarie (Albert) Gherardi, of Eastchester, and Louis (Donna) Frusciante Jr., of Mount Vernon; a sister, Jane Sussman; a brother, Vito (Jane) Tullo; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by five siblings, Vincent, Sophie, Lee, Eugene and Robert Tullo.

Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, at Yannantuono Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at Our Lady of Victory Church in Mount Vernon.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Memorial Fund of Meadowview Assisted Living, 2 Wartburg Place, Mount Vernon, NY 10552.
