MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Antonia Gialanella of Mount Vernon died Friday, April 15, at the age of 94.
She was born in Guardia Lombardi, Italy, on Jan. 17, 1922, to Ferdinando and Filomena DiBiasi.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ovidio; and her sister, Angela Castellano.
She was the mother of Fred (Helen) and Michael; grandmother of David, Robert (Michele) and Carly; and sister of Pietro (Concetta) DiBiasi.
The family will honor her life Tuesday, April 19, from 4-8 p.m. at Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Sts. Peter and Paul Church.
