Anna D’Andrea, 100, Former Longtime Mount Vernon Resident

SCOTCH PLAINS, N.J. - Anna D'Andrea, of Scotch Plains, former longtime Mount Vernon resident, died Sunday, Jan. 12. She was 100.

D’Andrea was born Jan. 9, 1914. A longtime resident of Mount Vernon, she moved to Scotch Plains in 2010. She was employed with Reliable Sprinkler Co. in Mount Vernon before retiring and was a longtime parishioner at Our Lady of Victory Church.

D’Andrea is survived by her daughter, Judith Deo; sons, Frank D'Andrea and Nicholas D'Andrea, Jr.; sister, Carmela Magner; and sister-in-law, Anna Ciampi; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas.

A service will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15 in the Ferncliff Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale.
