What's closed:

  • Mount Vernon City Schools and all school offices will be closed.
  • City Hall and all city offices will be closed.
  • Post offices will be closed.
  • The Mount Vernon Public Library will be closed.
  • Most banks will be closed.
  • All courts and state and federal government offices will be closed.

What's open:

Check with individual restaurants and retail outlets for any special holiday hours on Thursday.
