Two Mount Vernon Homes Narrowly Avoid Damage From Fallen Tree

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Heavy winds took down a large tree in Mount Vernon that narrowly missed damaging two homes on Wednesday night, according to News 12 Westchester.

Wind gusts up to 30 mph took a portion of the tree down. The fallen limb did clip one of the homes, but major damage was avoided, New 12 Westchester reported.
