Thunderstorms Could Be Moving Into Mount Vernon

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Sunny skies will give way to clouds later in the day in Westchester on Wednesday before rain, fog and a possible thunderstorm move into the area on Thursday.

Rain will begin after midnight and will continue throughout most of the day on Thursday. Areas of fog will burn off before 1 p.m. with possible thunderstorms in the early afternoon and evening. Up to an inch of rainfall is possible. High temperatures will be around 53 degrees. 

Showers and thunderstorms could linger in the early morning Friday. Expect cloudy skies throughout most of the day with a high temperature of 49.

Sun will return for the weekend with temperatures in the low-to-mid 40s.
