As of 9:00 AM this morning major parts of the Fleetwood Train Station permit parking on MacQuestion Parkway under the bridge still remain unplowed...Permit holders are scrambling for spaces as Mt Vernon steals their money.

Lets try this again...Mayor Davis lied on News12 and thats the damn truth. This citys problem has nothing to do with his so-called budgetery issues..did he forget how he just stole another tax increase from the residents? And IMO alternate side of the street parking should never have been suspended and the city should have allowed cars on those days to park for free in municipal lots, school and church lots after hours if needed be, to allow clearing; Snow Emergecny Streets (ie Broad St which still remains unplowed) should be strictly enforced, and while the temps warmed up the snow this weekend all 14 of the plows along with the special interest construction companies who pad Ernies pocket, should have been out clearing the roads, the Permit parking spaces at Fleetwood Train Station remain unplowed..really and you take money for these spaces; Gramatan Avenue is a disaster and try parking in front of the U.S. Post Office in Fleetwood, its a joke Mayor Davis.

@ksnow - this radio show may be worth the time to listen to Mayor Davis' propagandists praising him. I'm hoping they'll allow call-ins.
This is from the MV City Website:
The City Council will host its monthly radio
show on Monday, February 24, 2014 at 7:00 p.m where Nkechi Nwachukwu, Legislative Assistant to the City Council will be a special guest.

Just Added: Curtis Woods, Commissioner of the Department of Public Works, will also be a featured guest from 7:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Tune your radios to WVOX- 1460 AM to hear from Mrs. Nwachukwu, Commissioner Woods, and to stay informed on the latest City Council news!

Wish I could call in tonight and give my opinion..

You really have to see the WABC piece. Our mayor comments that the reason we can't plow the streets is because Mount Vernon is densely populated. Meanwhile, he and his planning and zoning boards are doing everything possible to further increase population density.

And Mayor Davis told News12 the reason for poor snow removal is a "faulty budget", implying that the people aren't paying enough taxes.
