Sign Up For MetroCard When Mobile Van Stops In Mount Vernon

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y.-- Westchester County’s full-service MetroCard Mobile Van will be coming to Mount Vernon to assist riders interested in purchasing MetroCards.

The Westchester County MetroCard Mobile Van will be in Mount Vernon on selected dates through December.

Here is the schedule of dates and locations the van will be in Mount Vernon through December:

Oct. 21 at the August Petrillo Plaza near Mont Vernon East Train Station from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Nov. 18 at the August Petrillo Plaza from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Dec. 16 at the August Petrillo Plaza from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

MetroCards can be used on the county’s Bee-Line bus system as well as New York City’s transit system.

In addition, staff will be available to explain rates, discounts and answer any questions.
