Respiratory Virus Affecting Children May Have Arrived In Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Young asthma patients who were admitted to Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center may have the serious respiratory illness that has affected children across the nation, according to a report by LoHud.com.

The presence of a virus has been found in the patients' systems, however it has not yet been confirmed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that the virus is enterovirus D68, according to the report.
