One-Stop Career Center Closed In Mount Vernon Wednesday

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The One-Stop Career Center at the Department of Social Services’ Mount Vernon District office will be closed Wednesday as crews continue to clean up from Sunday’s storm.

The Mount Vernon DSS office will be open on Wednesday, but the One-Stop Career Center is closed.

Flooding has forced the center to close, as volunteers continue to repair the damage from the storm.

Westchester residents who need services from the One-Stop Career Center have been advised that services can still be accessed online or in person at the White Plains location at 120 Bloomingdale Road.

Aside from the One-Stop Career Center, the DSS Mount Vernon District office is open on Wednesday.
