  • The Zonta Club named City Council member Roberta Apuzzo “Woman of the Year.” She was presented with a proclamation from the mayor’s office and the city council.
  • It was announced that Mount Vernon contracting company DGC Capital will receive the Frank and Kitty Shankwitz Award from the Make-A-Wish Foundation for their work in the community.
  • The historic grounds of St. Paul’s Church is now available for public self-guided walking tours. Residents can peruse the spiritual epitaphs that have been carved into the gravestones over the past 300 years.
