- Mount Vernon's former secretary to the water commissioner, Shauna Williams, 44, was arrested and charged with allegedly creating false overtime claims, according to LoHud.com.
- A 1-year-old girl died as the result of a car crash on the northbound Sprain Brook Parkway, which led to a vehicle fire and closed the northbound Sprain for more than two hours.
- Popular Westchester County radio personality and a longtime host of 107.1 FM "The Peak's" morning drive show, Caroline Corley, died suddenly Nov. 25.
- Employees at the Stop & Shop agreed they will not walk off the work site during the holiday weekend, and the supermarket, in return, agreed to not lock employees out, according to Supermarket News.
