The property at 136 Park Ave. sat vacant for years, having burned and partially collapsed in the meantime, lohud.com said.

Authorities had served three violations declaring the property unsafe to owners Mauro and Cleunice Monteiro since 2012, reported lohud.com.

The Monteiros applied for a building permit in 2014 but never used it, lohud.com noted.
