Mount Vernon Public Library To Offer Saturday Services

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – The Mount Vernon Public Library be opening its doors on Saturdays this summer, featuring extended weekend hours in both the Adult and Children’s Room.

The Saturday summer services will run from July 6 through Aug. 24, featuring a wide array of programming and activities for children and adults alike. After Saturday hours are briefly halted, they will resume on Sept. 3 with another set of different hours.

Adult Room Summer Hours

Monday: 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday: 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday: closed

Children’s Room Summer Hours

Monday: 10 a.m, to 6 p.m. Tuesday: 10 a.m, to 8 p.m. Wednesday: 10 a.m, to 6 p.m. Thursday: 10 a.m, to 8 p.m. Friday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday: closed
