MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. - Applications for youth employment in Mount Vernon are available
Youth Employment Service Coordinator Debbie Burrell-Butler said in a news release that the positions available will be competitive and given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applications for Mount Vernon High School students can be picked up and returned to Room 237 at the school. Nellie A. Thornton High School students can turn their applications in at Room LL21. Students at all other schools, may pick up and drop-off their applications at City Hall in Room 308.
The jobs are for Mount Vernon residents only. Those applying must present a birth certificate, Social Security card, a work permit (if under 18), school ID and proof of residence.
