Mount Vernon Mayor's Aide Gets Reprieve From Home Auction

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Mayor Ernie Davis’ top aide got a last-minute reprieve that for now saves her home from being auctioned for unpaid property taxes, according to lohud.com.

Shari Harris, who works for Davis, owes $66,000 in taxes on her 152 South 13th Ave. property, lohud.com reported. She allegedly last paid city, county and school taxes in 2008.
