MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. Harold Jackson, 34, of Mount Vernon was pronounced dead at Mount Vernon Hospital at 3:15 a.m. Saturday from a fatal gunshot wound, Mount Vernon Police said.
Gunshots were reported at 2 a.m. at 63 W. 3rd St. at the Ebony Gardens apartments, police said. Jackson was taken to the hospital by a private citizen, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police are investigating the shooting. No other details were available by noon Saturday.
