MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- A criminal complaint unsealed earlier this week against former Mount Vernon firefighter Henry-George Thomas outlines how he allegedly had secret meetings to exchange guns for cash, according to News 12 Hudson Valley.
Thomas, who is also the mayor's half-brother, pleaded guilty to gun trafficking charges and resigned. The 45-year-old was captured on surveillance video meeting with a confidential source to sell firearms last February, said News 12 Hudson Valley.
Thomas said carried on this practice for more than five years, sometimes selling the guns at the Mount Vernon Fire Department, added News 12 Hudson Valley.
