Mount Vernon Couple Claims Nypd Raided Their Home

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- A Mount Vernon couple said two men purporting to be members of the New York City Police Department kicked in their door and ransacked their home, according to News 12 Westchester.

Mount Vernon Police said they were not notified of any NYPD activity in the area and City Council President Marcus Griffith. NYPD officials said they executed an arrest warrant at the home of Geneva Smith and her husband, but did not find the person they were looking or, News 12 Westchester reported.
