March For Babies Walk Planned In Westchester

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Thousands of people will be at Saxon Woods Pool on Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains to take part in the 2015 March for Babies on Sunday.

Registration starts 9 a.m., and the walk will begin at 10 a.m. 

March for Babies supports research and other programs nationwide and in our community to help babies born healthy and those who need help to survive and thrive. 

In addition to the five-mile walk, other festivities will include the Baby Boulevard; Digital Arts Experience Stem Mobile; Engineering for Kids; Westchester Family Magazine; Westchester Circus Arts; SEW Happy; Gate Hill Day Camp; New York Life - Child Id, Face Painting, PLUS DJ  -  DJCatch1; Saints Brigade Drum and Bugle Corps; The WHUD & The Peak Street Teams. 

The Westchester March for Babies brings together families, companies and volunteers to raise money so that more babies can be born happy and healthy.

For more than 75 years, moms and babies have benefited from March of Dimes research, education, vaccines and breakthroughs. Find out how you can help raise funds to prevent premature birth and birth defects by walking in March for Babies at www.marchforbabies.org
