It's Pothole Season, So Mount Vernon Road Crews Are Out In Force

MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- It’s pothole season again, so public works crews are out in Mount Vernon filling those pesky street craters that chew up tires and damage the undersides of cars.

Mayor Richard Thomas has been asking folks to post pothole pictures on his Facebook page.

Mayor Richard Thomas has been asking residents to post pictures of potholes on his Facebook page using the hashtag, #potholemv, according to a report on cbslocal.com.

So far the response has been pretty good, both social media-wise and from folks calling City Hall about needed repairs, cbslocal.com reported.
