MOUNT VERNON, N. Y. -- A former Mount Vernon substitute teacher filed a lawsuit accusing the school district of firing her in retaliation for her sexual harassment complaint, according to Lohud.com.
In a federal civil rights lawsuit filed recently, Lovetta S. Nelson accused school officials of retaliation and discrimination when they fired her in 2013 after she made a sexual harassment complaint. According to court papers, her claim was investigated and dismissed, Lohud.com reported.
