Households in Westchester County who suffered disaster-related damage, material losses and loss of income are eligible for benefits from the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP), formerly known as food stamps. Loss of food alone will not qualify people for the program. Other eligibility requirements include household income, resources and disaster related expenses. Current residents on food stamps do not need to apply in person.

The WCDSS, located at 100 E. First St., will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 16, 19 and 20. For more information call (914) 995-2000.
