  • Flanked by family, friends, teammates and coaches, Eastchester lacrosse star Jordyn DiCostanzo set another school record, signing on as the first athlete in district history to commit to a Division I program.
  • Morning accidents slowed down Tuesday's morning commute. One lane of the southbound Bronx River Parkway was closed following an accident at Ardsley Road (Exit 11) and Harney Road/Strathmore Road (Exit 10) reported at 8:45 a.m. Both lanes had been closed earlier.
  • A 60-year-old man was arrested and accused of hanging 25 dead cats from a tree near his Yonkers home in April.
  • The Internal Revenue Service is warning Westchester County residents to beware of a new telephone scam demanding money or bank information from taxpayers.
