And roads may be blocked and experience delays in parts of backcountry Greenwich and North Stamford to accommodate the president's motorcade.
Obama is due to fly into Westchester County Airport on the Greenwich border just after 3 p.m. to attend a pricey Democratic National Committee fundraiser in nearby North Stamford.
Drivers will see rolling in intersections and driveways as Obama travels to the fundraiser, Hearst said, which will be held at the private North Stamford home of philanthropist Michael Whittingham.
Motorists are advised to avoid backcountry Greenwich and North Stamford until Obama and his motorcade leaves the area. It will be a quick trip: The departure from Westchester County Airport is expected after 5:30 p.m.
The president spent the day in the Nutmeg state. On Wednesday morning, Obama spoke at the graduation of the Coast Guard Academy in New London.
